If you haven’t seen this clip of the cute kid throwing back a foul ball from the Oakland/Tigers game a few weeks ago watch it here. I was so excited that the little dude had a chance to show off his arm again by throwing out the first pitch for this game. The whole situation was made even better because he was throwing to Nate Freiman – easily the tallest guy on the A’s at 6’8″. They made the perfect pair.

At 19 innings and 6.5 hours, our 6th game at the Coliseum was the longest amount of time I’ve ever spent at a baseball stadium. It was also tense, exciting, thrilling, at times monotonous, but mostly excruciating, and we finally got the win at 1:41am. It was fantastic.
